Ørsted announced on Aug. 26 the installation of the last foundation for the Greater Changhua1 & the Greater Changhua2A offshore wind farms.
A total of 333 underwater foundation piles, 111 fan tube-frame underwater foundations, and two offshore substation tube-frame underwater foundations have been installed in the first phase of offshore wind farms in the southeast and southwest of Greater Changhua, setting a record for the world’s single largest underwater foundation.
