Wind Energy – HKW
The 2,300 tons weighing jacket for TenneT’s offshore transformer platform Hollandse Kust (west Alpha) has been successfully installed about 50 kilometers off the coast of Egmond aan Zee, the Netherlands.

Next year, the ready-made superstructure containing the transformers will be installed. The construction will be ready from 2024 and TenneT will bring sustainable wind energy ashore with the platform, which has a capacity of 700 megawatts.
The 49-meter high steel construction was installed by the installation vessel Orion, operated by DEME Offshore.
