General – Appointment
After three successful and rewarding years, Matthijs Groenewegen of Allseas hands over the General Manager Australia position to Evert van Herel.
“I can’t wait to get started and build on our growing portfolio of projects in Australia,” says Evert. “There are many prospects for us here. Not just providing world-class subsea infrastructure, but also in the fledgling offshore wind and decommissioning markets, where we have proven ourselves as market leaders in Europe.”
Matthijs will return to our engineering office in Delft. “With such an interesting time ahead in Perth and beyond, it does feel a bit early, but I’m leaving the Perth team in great hands!”. More than anything, I’d like to thank everyone for what we have achieved here together with our team, clients, contractors and industry partners.”
Allseas is no stranger to the land down under. Since 2002, we executed about 15 projects in Australia, installing more than 2,000 km of pipe of various complexities and in various water depths.
To meet the growing demand for Allseas’ services in Australia, the company recently moved into new surroundings in downtown Perth.
