Wind Energy – Taiwan

Crane vessel Bokalift 2 successfully reached her first milestone on the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.

She transported and installed a total of seven jackets for the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm, thereby completing the first phase of the foundation installation.

After picking up the jackets in the Port of Taipei, the offshore installation work was successfully completed using the unique capabilities of the 4,000 ton revolving crane that lifted and installed the 72-meter-high and 1,400-ton jackets.

The next mission will be the installation of the remaining pin piles and 52 jackets for this project.
