Wednesday, July 13 2022

Wind Energy – East Anglia

Cadeler has signed its first Vessel Reservation Agreement with ScottishPower Renewables.

The agreement covers the transportation and installation of 95 wind turbines which are to be installed in 2026 at the East Anglia Three windfarm.

Additionally, two Preferred Bidder Agreements have been signed for East Anglia One North and East Anglia Two.

The total value of these agreements ranges from 90 to 225 million Euro.

For this large project Cadeler will deploy both one of its O-class vessels featuring the new crane, as well as one of the two newbuild X-class vessels.

Cadeler is currently in the process of building two new X-class vessels and aim to have the first newbuild ready for operation by the second half of 2024.
