Subsea 7 awarded contract offshore Gulf of Mexico

Fossil energy – Gulf of Mexico

Subsea 7 today announced the award of a contract by Chevron for the development of the Ballymore project offshore US Gulf of Mexico, in water depths of up to 6,550 feet.

The project covers the installation of a Steel Catenary Riser (SCR), flowline and control system. Subsea 7 has supported Chevron with early engineering prior to the award.

The offshore scope will be executed in 2023.
