Through Field Development Planning, Aker BP can make data-driven decisions for entire field concepts, covering both subsurface and well construction.
This way, the company gains a much better understanding of uncertainty and risks associated with field development concepts. Furthermore, this enables us to make decisions much earlier and with better quality in the design than before.
Aker BP and Halliburton are already revolutionizing well planning and construction on Halliburton’s IEnergy cloud solution through Collaborative Well Planning and Digital Well Program. Field Development Planning is next in line and will be available during 2022.
