According to ships agency DHSS self elevating barge Haven Seahaven departed the Port of IJmuiden this morning under tow of multicats Morag M and Coastal Crown.
Destination: TenneT project site at Wijk aan Zee.
Jan De Nul, as part of the consortium JLC together with LS-Cable & System, is responsible for the supply and installation of 210km of offshore cable on behalf of TenneT.
Jan De Nul takes care of the transportation, laying and protection of the cables while LC-Cable & System is responsible for the supply, termination and testing of the cables.
The barge and vessels will join jack-up vessel MPI Adventure which is already near the beach with the newly designed and engineered tool called Moonfish, an intertidal trenching vehicle to bury the first export cable into the seabed.
Next task will be transporting the 300 meter Dunlop floating line, built up in port, to the beach.
