Wind Energy – Poland
On 15th of March 2022 in Warsaw, at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the very first, technical seating of the Coordination Council for Offshore Wind Energy was held.

The Coordination Council has been established by Poland’s Minister of Climate and Environment for facilitation and control of Polish Offshore Wind Sector Deal implementation.
Among the main tasks of the Coordination Council are:
– monitoring of local content level delivered in supply chains of Polish offshore wind farm projects
– coordination and control of implementation of the other goals included in Sector Deal
– coordination of working groups established for cooperation of the Sector Deal Parties
The President of the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society (PTMEW), Mariusz Witoński, has been nominated for Deputy Chairman of the Council.
