WInd Energy – South Korea
Vestas has made a breakthrough in the South Korean wind industry today by signing a four-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), together with Ulsan Metropolitan City (Ulsan), Sejin Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (Sejin) and Ulsan Port Authority (UPA).
Under this MOU, the parties seek opportunities to develop the infrastructure needed for the manufacturing and installation of Vestas’ wind turbines in Ulsan, in addition to other potential activities.
The MOU was signed by Henrik Andersen (President & CEO of Vestas), Chul-Ho song (Chairman of Ulsan), Jong-Kook Yoon (Chairman of Sejin) and Jaegyun Kim (President of UPA).
