TenneT reveals HKZ Beta damage

Thursday, February 10 2022

Wind Energy – HKZ

TenneT has revealed damage to the jacket and cable deck of its HKZ Beta platform at the 1500MW offshore wind project after a cargo ship collided with it.

The company said that the jacket has been dented and the cable deck damaged at one corner.

No one was on the platform at the time.

TenneT will now inspect the damage to the jacket, both above and underwater level.

The company expects to have a clear picture of the exact damage to the jacket by early March, so that it can make a plan for the necessary repairs.
