Just In: FPSO goes up in flames

Fossil Energy – FPSO

An FPSO named Trinity Spirit FPSO has allegedly exploded, causing raging fire and fear.

Owner of the FPSO is Shebah Exploration and Production Company Limited (SEPCOL).

An anonymous source told Fresh Angle International at about 9:40 am, Wednesday February 2, that a loud explosion was heard few minutes to 1 am.

The source added that the vessel produces crude oil and that it is situated around Meren, a North Field Oil Facility belonging to a multinational oil and gas company in the Escravos area of Warri South – West Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
