Cosco transports LNG module to West Siberia

Cosco (HK) has successfully rolled on the heaviest module TMR005 weighing 14,000 mt for the ARCTIC LNG 2 project owned by Novatek and its partners and entrusted to Technip Energies for the EPC part.

In December last year the module was transported with the world’s record of 630 axles SPMT (self-propelled modular transporter) to the largest semi-submersible vessel, Xin Guang Hua.

Destination: Gydan peninsula in West Siberia Russia.
