General – cablecon
365 Renewable Energy from Singapore is proud to be awarded by The Japan-Guam-Australia Cable (JGA) System to deliver and fabricate 5 cablecon that would be use for the stowage of the Fiber Optic (FO) Cables.
The project is to transport the FO cables due for the expansion of the network capacity for JGA South cable system.
Director Vincent Phang said: “Our engineering and manufacturing factory in Batam has worked round the clock even on the new year eve to transport the 5 fabricated cable-con to the Batam depot. While at the depot the 5 Open Top Containers (OTC) had been delivered from the Singapore port, were waiting for the stowage of the cable-con. Each of the cable-con was being lifted by the crane and lowered into the OTC before they were secured by welding and drilled in with metal bracket. After the QC check on the securement was completed, our engineer and crews began to load out all the fiber optic cables into the all the cable-cons. All these were done with our team encountering heavy downpour from the monsoon rain since 31 Dec 2021. With all the safety precaution in place our team has safely completed the loading of all the FO cables on 7 Jan 2022 into the 5 cable-con containers that were scheduled to set sail to Japan, Yokohama later in January.”
