Tuesday, December 14 2021

Fossil energy – drilling

VAALCO Energy has started a four-well drilling campaign using Borr Drilling jackup Norve at the Etame field offshore Gabon.

The rig has now spudded the Etame 8H-ST development well which is expected to be completed in January with production expected later in the first quarter of 2022.

The rig will remain with VAALCO until at least March 2022 with options available thereafter.
