Wind energy – Yunlin OWF

Following the construction progress earlier this year, the Yunlin OWF achieved the feed-in of its first turbine.

The turbine has been connected to the grid and feed-in has commenced successfully today.

By the end of 2021, Yunlin OWF is expected to have the first batch of WTGs coming into operation, and will therefore be the first offshore wind farm in operation with local content.

Looking up to the total capacity of 640 MW, Yunlin OWF will be a great power source to the Yunlin area in the near future.
