The next stage, i.e., Baltica 2 with a capacity of ca. 1500 MW, is to be completed by 2027.
Investments will contribute to accelerating the Polish energy transformation. Both stages of the project have location decisions – (PL PSZW), environmental decisions, connection agreements to the transmission network with the operator, and have also received the right to a contract for difference, i.e. support for investors implementing offshore wind farms in the Polish offshore exclusive economic zone of the Baltic Sea.
After the preparation and construction stage, PGE and Ørsted will operate the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm for 30 years providing clean energy to millions of Polish households, companies and institutions.
