Wind energy – Saint-Nazaire
GE Renewable Energy has inaugurated the logistics hub for the 480MW Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm off France at the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire Port.

The inauguration was attended by French Prime Minister Jean Castex, accompanied by Mrs Barbara Pompili, Minister of the Ecological Transition, and Mrs Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Delegate Minister of the Minister of the Economy in charge of the industry.
Saint-Nazaire will comprise 80 GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines.
It is being developed by a consortium of EDF Renouvelables, Enbridge, and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
EDF said 21 of the project’s 80 monopile foundations have been installed so far by DEME Offshore’s jack-up vessel Innovation.
