Maersk Integrator to drill on Tambar

Thursday, January 28 2021

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has given Aker BP consent to use Maersk Integrator for production drilling on Tambar.

Tambar is located in the southern part of the Norwegian sector in the North Sea, 16 kilometers southeast of Ula.

The sea depth at the location is 68 meters.

Tambar was proven in 1983, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2000. The field has been expanded with a remote-controlled wellhead facility without process equipment.

Production started in 2001.
