RWE Renewables is happy to report that the company has signed the Grid Connection Agreement for the 350 MW FEW Baltic II Offshore Wind Farm project.
The project is being developed in the Polish part of the Baltic sea and is planned to be one of the first to start construction in the Polish Baltic Sea. Once constructed the wind farm will be capable to supply sustainable renewable energy for around 350,000 households.
The FEW Baltic II project is part of the continued expansion of RWE’s renewables portfolio in Poland, one of its core markets in Europe. RWE has already gained considerable experience and operate about a dozen onshore wind farms here with a total capacity of approximately 390 MW. And the company aims to develop and build several Offshore Projects until the end of the decade.
