Taiwan’s Shinfox Energy and Singapore based marine consturciton company Teras Offshore have been awarded its phase II offshore wind project by state utility Taipower.
Taipower said the bidding dual has passed qualification review and the bid closed at NT$62.89 billion (tax included).
The windfarm is expected to be completed by the end of September in 2025, producing over 1TWh electricity each year, supplying electricty for 270,000 households in Taiwan. The wind farm will be using Siemens Gamesa turbines.
