Bahamas Petroleum Company has signed a contract with Stena Drilling to provide a drilling rig for its first exploration well.
Oil and gas exploration company, Stena Drilling, will provide a sixth-generation drilling rig, including the integrated supply of a Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) unit, offshore of the Bahamas.
Under the contract, Perseverance #1, will be used by Bahamas Petroleum to drill the exploration well, expected to start later this year, having been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
