Today the Dutch RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) announced that it has no objection to this extension, provided that all other preventive measures are still being taken, such as wearing face masks during the flight, pre-screening passengers for health complaints and a dividing wall between pilot and passengers.
Following the announcement of the Dutch Government that the corona measures can be expanded step by step, the industry organization NOGEPA earlier on asked RIVM whether helicopters can fly to offshore installations with full occupancy again.
The State Supervision of Mines (SSM) has informed NOGEPA to follow the advice of RIVM and that under these conditions it is again permitted to fly to offshore locations with full occupancy.
