On May 12 the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has issued a tender call for Client Offshore Representatives for the geotechnical investigations at IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone and, possibly, at a neighbouring wind farm zone.
Description of the procurement: Tenderers are requested to offer four (4) client offshore representatives. Services of offshore client reps are requested during the geotechnical investigations at IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone and optionally at a neighbouring Wind Farm Zone.
Four Client Offshore Representatives are needed, who will be present at the vessels or the site of the contractor of the geotechnical site investigations at the IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone (IJVWFZ).
Value excluding VAT: 1 350 000.00 EUR.
IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone (IJVWFZ) is located 33.4 nautical miles (62 km) off the west coast of the Netherlands. There will be 4 wind farm sites designated within the IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone: IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Site I, II, III, and IV. The Dutch Government will issue 2 tenders for the permits to develop the sites.
The total surface area of the wind farm sites within the zone (including maintenance and safety zones) is approximately 400 km². These wind farm sites will accommodate 4 GW of offshore wind capacity. Transmission system operator TenneT will construct 2 offshore platforms with grid connections in the IJVWFZ.
