On March 8 the first turbine was successfully installed in the Yangjiang Nanpeng 300MW Offshore Wind Project developed by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.
55 MySE 5.5-155 wind turbines will be installed in the next few months. Given the limited weather window for offshore construction, a milestone like this demonstrates how MingYang team can work closely together with customers to speed up the construction progress and ensure the implementation of wind projects.
CECEP Yangjiang Nanpeng Wind Project features 55 MySE 5.5-155 wind turbines, 220kv offshore substation and onshore centralized control center. With water depth of 23m~32m and 28km off the coast, the Project adopted the world’s first suction bucket jacket foundation. Once completed, the 55 MySE 5.5-155 turbines will be able to power 330,000 households with clean energy.
