Norway’s seismic data acquisition company ‘Magseis Fairfield’ is booked for two consecutive deepwater ocean bottom node projects in the U.S Gulf of Mexico.
Magseis Fairfield did not share the name of its repeat customer.
Earlier this year in May, seismic data acquisition company signed up a project headed by TGS in partnership with SLB in the US Gulf of Mexico.
According to the Norwegian company, these surveys will be carried out in the Mississippi Canyon and Garden Banks areas and will cover a total area of more than 900 square kilometers.
Work is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2020 and is expected to take approximately 100 days.
