Scana Offshore got the job to to upgrade Yinsons’ Nigeria FPSO anchor system

Scana Offshore will upgrade / modify mooring equipment on Yinsons’ FPSO Allan.

Production unit is due to operate on the Anyala and Madu fields in OMLs 83 and 85 offshore Nigeria and operated by Nigerian oil and gas company First E&P.

The modifications and upgrade will enhance the anchoring system’s capacity and improve monitoring of anchoring forces.

As per Scana, the main contract work includes delivery of hull engineering services and reinforcement of chain stoppers to comply with enhancements, supply of critical components, and a comprehensive monitoring system as agreed with Yinson.
