OOS International signs cooperation agreement

Tuesday, July 10 2018

OOS International confirmed today that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Forship Engenharia S/A (Forship), with the intention to establish a long-term strategic partnership to jointly pursue offshore maintenance projects mainly within the Brazilian region.

OOS International and Forship have identified that their complementary areas of expertise may be combined to enable a more efficient way of delivering projects. Both parties wish to establish a collaborative working relationship, with the shared purpose to deliver a number of key prospects together for various clients.

“We are very pleased to enter into this cooperation with Forship, a respectable company and to strengthen our ties within the Brazilian region. A strong partner enables OOS International to address new growth opportunities, especially within the Brazilian market. Our partnership opens up new models for developing offshore maintenance projects. Turnkey services can now be offered by combining Heavylift/ Floatel units with the FPSO maintenance expertise of Forship.”

“The first cooperation project has already been identified and a joint bid has been submitted. We see attractive market opportunities where we, together, can deliver cost-effective solutions to our clients in the oil and gas sector,” said Léon Overdulve, Chairman of the Board and CEO of OOS International.
