Gina Krog living quarters heading offshore

Wednesday, August 24 2016

Statoil announced that the living quarters of the Gina Krog field in the North Sea are heading offshore Stavanger.

The module left Apply Leirvik on Sunday and that it is set to join its sister modules on the Gina Krog field.

Apply Leirvik was awarded the contract for the delivery of the Gina Krog LQ by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) back in 2013.

The Gina Krog field is located 30 kilometers northwest of the Sleipner field and around 250 kilometers southwest of Stavanger, Norway. The development has an estimated 225 million barrels of oil and gas.
